I've decided that the neck and headstock of this guitar look too light. I want to darken them to a more vintage color. I mixed clear nitro-cellulose lacquer with both red and yellow dye from Castin'Craft. The little disturbances in the surface of the liquid let me know that this dye is not completely compatible with nitro-cellulose lacquer, but I used the mixture anyway. I brushed two coats of this onto the neck and headstock. The result is a very nice vintage-type coloring and an aged appearance.
