Last night I started polishing the finish. I tried the polisher that I usually use on my truck, and it worked great! The sparkle flakes I put into the lacquer really make the color in the finish unique. I honestly don't believe I've ever seen this exact color before. It doesn't look perfect, of course, but then my goal is about seeking perfection in the playability of the guitar, not the exterior appearance.
