I am still nervous about using the paint guns and compressor, so I'm going to just brush the paint on. I haven't mastered the paint guns yet; I don't know for sure which knobs control paint and which control air, and I don't want to waste any of this expensive paint.

At any rate, today I'll be putting on primer prior to starting the paint application.
