Today is Old Finish Removal Day. I started removing the old finish from the body of the guitar with a power drill and sanding set-up (mandrel and sanding pad). Then I switched to a grade sequence of sandpaper from about #80 to not finer than new #400 wet/dry. I'm on the sandpaper sequence right now.
